Mt. Pleasant, UT: Sarah “Sally”Ellamae Hujik 61 of Mt. Pleasant passed away November 21, 2011 in Logan, UT after a long illness. Mrs. Hujik was born June 20, 1950 in Lyons, New York a daughter of the late Nina Newport Thomas and has resided in Mt. Pleasant for the last 7 years. Sarah was employed as a hospital billing and admitting clerk. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Jess of Mt. Pleassant, UT; Patricia (David) Fisher of Newark, NY; and Bonnie (Donald) Hunt of Shinglehouse, PA and a brother Ronald (Bonnie) Jess of Dover, DE; brother-in-law, William (Jeneil) Black of Ogden, UT and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hujik and Stillborn daughter; her mother, Nina Aunkst and step father, Robert Thomas Jr. Her adopted mother, Nellie M. Swan Jess and sister, Belva Jean Black and nephew, Douglas Black of California. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held positions in primary and scouts. Funeral services will be Monday November 28, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Mt.Pleasant 2nd Ward Chapel (295 S. State). Friends may call Monday from 9:30-10:30 am at the church prior to services. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
