Week 3

Jesus is our "Egg"ample.  There was a basket just outside the chapel door for all the missionaries to have a little bit of Easter celebration and candy.  Inside were two Lindor chocolates.The Knighton's spoke.  Sister Knighton was called to be the Relief Society president.  We rode with them Thursday last week to the temple and SLC. For Sunday School, Elder and Sister Bradshaw taught about the week before Christ's Resurrection.  Very inspiring. 

 We went for a walk through the baseball park that is across from the Heber Valley Railroad park. 

Monday the camp started moving up to the mountains.

They were only going to do 10 trailers, so we headed up to learn and assist at the welcome center. 

This was the welcome committee  and if you look to the left you can see the first trailer (The Taylor's) coming down the road. 

Sister Andrus and Sister Stevenson came out from the office to welcome everyone that morning. After the 10 came up we left back to Cowboy Village to work on preparing our move on Tuesday.  After lunch it was decided to send up more trailers so we helped others get ready to go since we were near the end of the list for Tuesday.  They moved up 35 more trailers that afternoon leaving about 25 more for the next day. Up early Tuesday and we decided to take the tire off the trailer since we had problems of it loosing air, to get it checked.  Les Schwab Tire center found a nail in it, fixed it at no charge, so we also decided to leave the four runner to have a tire checked too.  Everything went very smoothly and we left an hour a head of schedule. 

When we arrived at the welcome center, Sister Foxley gave us and all the missionaries, chemicals for the trailer and roll of single ply toilet paper.  Gary mentioned that it reminded him of Wilson from Cast Away with Tom Hanks. So we drew a face on the wrapping.

We arrived at our trailer spot and the "swarm" came to help us level, water and sewer connection.  We all received notice that everyone was on the mountain 🏔️ and there were no problems of getting them all.  A very good day.

We have been learning about some of our responsibilities.  On Friday we got done with our class instructions and it was decided that the zone would go out to one of the outer roads that we would checking

It was very fun and we got to see how the new electric utv did.  Not very good - going down hill it did great but climbing hills, it ate up a lot of battery.  We just made it back to our trailer.

Saturday we decide to head back to Mt Pleasant to have our other utv prepared to bring it up here.  Needed to the tracks taken off and put the tires back on.  We picked up several items we needed.  Gary took this picture of me as we're about ready to leave for Heber.

Sunday I was asked to teach the Relief Society lesson. I chose Sister Craven's talk "Do what mattereth most", it went very well.
