Week 2 in review.

Our schedule for training.

Monday we received our assignment of where we will be working in the camp.  Public Safety.  Checking in and out campers, patrolling the perimeter, escorting campers to different areas who can't walk the distances, provide medical assistance, etc.  

We had four days of spiritual training.  The opening hymn of our first meeting was powerful.  Our home ward the members hardly sing, the chapel here was filled with music with 84 missionary couples plus leadership singing "High on the Mountain Top" had many in tears.That evening we had a fireside with Area Seventy Elder James Bekker.

Lunch and dinner were provided by the leadership for the next four days.  They fed us good physically and spiritually.

Tuesday evening session we were able to hear from Elder and Sister Allen Haynie from the Area Presidency.

Thursday, we had a temple session at the Jordan River Temple and then we headed to Salt Lake City and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for luncheon in the Sharon Room (9th Floor) and we're able to hear from Sister Michelle Craig  first counselor in the General Young Women's Presidency.

Friday we were to start moving to the mountain but the weather was not in our favor.  So many couples headed home to get things they forgot or needed. So we will be moving Monday and Tuesday, that pushed our training to Wednesday.

The camp provided a laundromat  for us to use.

 So Saturday we did laundry, cleaned the trailer, did a little shopping and visited with fellow missionary couples.
