Family Time

Sunday May 26 Gary and I drove over to Deseret to meet up with Dad and Uncle Dave to help put flowers on family graves in Deseret and Oasis.  Gary told Dad that we would be there at the Deseret Cemetery at 1:30 and we would have to leave by 3:00 to get to Lindon for a family dinner at Shawn and Karey's at 5:00. Gary called Dad about 1:15 to see where they might be and they were just coming through Nephi.  Dad was confused on what Gary told him and he said Uncle Dave will drive faster to get.  They arrived a little after 2:00 and as we waited,we met some cousins of Dad's and Uncle Dave who were putting flowers on their parent's graves.  We left at 3:00 where Shawn, Karey, Gared, Katrina, Zane and Tim (who came into SLC the night before and Katrina and Zane picked him up at the Knight yard, were waiting for us.  Zane will be going on the road with Tim for about 2 weeks.  Zane is very excited about this new adventure!
Had a nice family dinner with all the family at Shawn and Karey's.  They were playing Phase 10 when I left for home.
Gary spent the night at Shawn and Karey's to go fishing with Gared Monday at Strawberry Reservoir.
The weather was not too good- rainy and stormy.  They had fun and some interesting situations with the weather, electric motor and getting to the shore before the motor died and the storm blew them to the other side of the reservoir.  Met them in Spanish Fork to pick up Gary Monday evening.
