Two weeks and counting!

 

Two weeks from today, we report back to Heber Valley Camp.  There is so much snow there and the correspondence we are hearing from the Camp, we may be in Cowboy Village up to four weeks instead of the normal two weeks. 

Gary took the camper into Peak RV for the unwinterizing, checking over items especially the furnace and hot water heater.  We probably won't be able to bring it up to the cabin because we still have almost 3 feet of snow  here and it is snowing more today and the rest of the week. A few things to repack, groceries and we got a new loveseat/recliner to get inside.

Daisy, David, Steven and Ashton came down yesterday and went to church with us, then we all came back to the cabin for dinner and played some games.  Daisy replaced a zipper on one of my camp coats this winter and she brought it back for me.  It was really nice to see her and the family before we left.

Amanda (Gared's wife) had drove down to southern California with her sister and mother to attend her grandfather's funeral. As they were driving back Sunday, they were involved in a 4 car accident south of Las Vegas.  They were able to replace their rental car, drove into Las Vegas, spent the night and drove home Monday.  She got home last this afternoon and Gared is making she goes into the doctor tomorrow for a check up and see if X-rays need to taken.  She had an accident last year and cracked her ribs and sternum - the seatbelt caused that to have with her driving then and the airbag was activated.  But this time she was a passenger and the airbag didn't deploy!

I will be taking Moose into the groomer's tomorrow for a bath and DE shedding because we take him to Gared and Amanda's for the summer.  Need to come up with a cover to protect Tigger's food dish from the Stellar Jays who like his cat food. Thinking of getting a litter box with a cover so they can't steal his food.

Last weekend Gary and I drove down to Mesa Arizona to be a part of Jason and Kalla Alldredge's wedding On March 11th.

They had Jason's Dad - Doug Alldredge preside over the wedding.  It was a wonderful ceremony and reception afterwards.  Friday night there was a family rehearsal dinner which we were able to attend. We brought back oranges, lemons and grapefruits to eat.  We stopped at Moqui Caves north of Kanab, stayed in Page at an AirBNB, went to Tonto National Monument by Globe AZ, spend the night at Jacob Lake,  stopped in to Duane and Mindy in Cane Beds, AZ and returned home.  Gary went up the next day to return the rental car and picked up our truck which was getting a recall item done and then picked up Moose at Gared and Amanda's.  He was happy to see us!
