Friday, May 13, 2022: Our first car to officially enter the camp to start the camping season. I forgot to add this in last week!
Sunday, May 15, 2022 - I am attaching a picture of our campsite in Sunrise.

A big change since when we first arrived. The aspen trees are just starting to bud out and most of the snow is now melted within Sunrise. It still has been too cold to leave my pansies outside - some days are warm and I set them outside to get a little natural light on our stairs.
Tuesday - we got to see a moose on our way to the welcome center for our morning devotional. We are seeing more and more of them on a daily basis.
Wednesday -the zone got to take an UTV ride through Timber Lakes to see where some more of our gates connect to each other. Roads on the HVC side are still snow blocked but it is melting a little more every day.

Friday, grounds maintenance was installing the new Young Women Flags just before the Welcome Center.
President O'Bryant was only expecting about 150 cars to come through. Well we had 461 cars to come throught. Many YW leaders looking to see what were their camp was, cooks looking to see what the kitchens are like, future couples interested in being missionaries!
Some of the missionaries walked while others used the shuttle service we at Public Safety provided.
I was able to take this picture of Elder and Sister Hunt (from our zone) at the big tire swing that over looks Legacy Lake at HVC.
If you look closely, the second flag from the end is backwards. The Young Women's committee had to send these flags back several times because there was always something wrong with them. This one error will have to pass because the next day is the OPEN HOUSE.
Sunday the whole camp was invited to Timber Moose Lodge (Known here in camp as the Great and Spacious Building).
The HVC is located to the left of the road in this picture. They provided the meat, rolls, place setting, drinks, while the missionaries brought either a side, a salad or a dessert. I took "Snicker Salad" which I first had for the first time at YW Camp when I was in the presidency a few years back.
Gary was one of the drivers using the camp's side by sides.

It’s so good to hear from you. It looks so beautiful. The oaks are finally leafing out. Love the moose.
