| Looking east up into the Scout Camp - I caught the horses that were used for the equestrian program grazing on the hillside behind the cabin and if you look really close - you will see the rainbow. |

| The mule at the left of the picture - didn't like Charlie - earlier Charlie was barking, ran up the hill and a few seconds later he comes running back down the hill towards the cabin with this mule chasing him. I didn't see the horse (total of 18 or so) for they were further up the hill in the meadow but Charlie knew there was something there that was new! |

| Gary asleep in the recliner in the afternoon after his shoulder surgery. He slept most of the time in the recliner for the next 4 or 5 weeks - only place that he could get comfortable. He had his arm in the sling for about 6 weeks and started physical therapy around the 1st of September. He fell out a truck and landed right on his shoulder tearing muscle, the rotater cuff and chipped his collar bone towards the end of June and had surgery July 19th. He got pretty good at doing things left handed - as of today he can start lifting things that weigh about 3- 4 pounds. |

| August 5 - August 8 there was a small family get together at Wheeler Peek in the Great Basin National Park in NV. Gary, Erik and Charlyn Ferbrache William and Aaron Black went on a hike to a place that Aaron knew the elk hang out. Saw no elk but some great nature pictures. |

| Gary found an aspen tree with the year"56" craved in it. |
