Tim has been planning this day (July 4th) for well over a year! He drove his Knight Transportation truck in the Hub City Days Parade. Zane and friend were walk along side the truck and toss candy along the parade route. They got about a third of the way along the parade route and were out of candy so they joined Gary, Katrina and I to watch the parade.
We attended the annual hospital fund raiser breakfast at the park, walked around to the different booths, found our spot Katrina got to watch the parade. After the parade we all headed back up to cabin to get the ribs in the smoker, set up the lunch table and play games.
Nap time and back to town to watch the fireworks! No fires this year like last year when a firework miss fired! The city roped off the area closer to the site where they launch the fireworks but it was still very impressive!
A very nice day had by all!
